Mike Beato has a variety of experience that he brings to each project. After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from Buffalo State College in 1978, he was recruited by the International Photographic Division of the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York. Mike rose to become a senior systems analyst working on software development projects. His responsibilities included numerous overseas assignments to conduct user training, needs analysis, software testing, and problem troubleshooting -- visiting countries in Europe, Latin America and the Far East.

After moving to Buffalo, New York in 1986, Mike took a year-long consulting assignment at a local advertising agency where he changed his focus to electronic design and publishing solutions.

In 1987, Mike was hired as Systems Manager to launch a state-of-the-art advertising agency using the latest in computer technology called Adworks Communications Limited. After a year as Systems Manager, Mike was promoted to General Manager.

In March 1989, Mike left Adworks to start his own technology consulting business -- Beato Enterprises Inc.

	In 1996, Mike was named the David I. Levy Communicator of the Year by the Professional Communicators of Western New York (now Brainstorm, The Communicators Club of Buffalo). This prestigious award is given annually to honor the recipient for a distinguished record of achievement in communications over an extended period of time.
	Mike Beato has won several awards for creative excellence from the Professional Communicators of Western New York.
	In September 1998, Mike joined the Canisius College faculty in Buffalo as an adjunct professor in the Communications Studies Department. He teaches a graduate-level communication technology course in the Organizational Communication and Development graduate program.
